My prayer today for the both of them, and for all priests, comes from Sacred Scripture:
Do not neglect the gift you have, which was conferred on you through the prophetic word with the imposition of hands of the Holy Spirit.
1 Timothy 4:14
Jesus tells a Samaritan woman that all who worship God must worship Him “in Spirit and truth.” (John 4:24) My hope is that, through my personal reflections and experiences on the public work or service of the people, many may not only worship, but also come to know Him in Spirit and Truth.
